Pyrocalm Control tablets contain the active substance Omeprazole. It belongs to a group of medicines called ‘proton pump inhibitors. It can be used for the treatment of reflux symptoms which include heartburn and acid reflux. They work by reducing the amount of acid that your stomach produces.
The active substance Is omeprazole. Each tablet contains 20mg of omeprazole.
The other ingredients are lactose monohydrate, sodium starch glycolate, sodium stearyl fumarate, sodium stearate, hypromellose acetate succinate, brownish pink colour (which contains propylene glycol, titanium dioxide (E171), red iron oxide (E172), hypromellose and yellow iron oxide (E172)), talc, triethyl citrate, monoethanolamine, sodium laurilsulfate and traces of carnauba wax.

IMPORTANT: It can take 2 to 3 days for symptoms to improve.
Antacids can be used to treat your symptoms while waiting for the product to have full effect.
Pyrocalm Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets (omeprazole) shouldn’t be taken if you are using other PPI (e.g. esomeprazole) or H2-antagonists (e.g. ranitidine). It interacts.
If you have any allergies to the ingredients or sensitivities to other PPI’s you should not take Pyrocalm Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets (omeprazole). For further information on allergies refer to the pack information.
Please READ THE LEAFLET as there are other medicines that may interact with Pyrocalm Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets (omeprazole); e.g. omeprazole can decrease the absorption of certain antifungal medicines, so you are advised to take this with an acidic drink.
